Having read several Kristin Hannah books, I was very disappointed in “Distant Shores.” I found it ti be a “Hallmark” book. The Nightingale and The Women are vastly superior.

I watched one and one half episodes before giving up. The characters are unrealistic, and the script poorly written. The obscenities coming from Keri Russell’s mouth are unending. Hopefully our government’s representatives abroad are of better caliber. Give me a British production any day.
