I was apprehensive about watching Wonka … such a huge fan of the original and Gene Wilder … but I have to say, it’s an amazing movie/musical that did not step on the original movies feet …. Bravo! Well done! I will watch this over and over again.

Moving tale of JD who had incredible odds to overcome from his upbringing, drug abuse, poverty, etc. Through the mentorship of his GMa he beat the odds that unfortunately skipped his mother’s generation. Learn from the past to move forward. Previous generations pushing for what they themselves were unable to achieve. Bravo Ron Howard! A great adaptation to JD Vance’s writings.

Watching You ... it’s a Hallmark movie about a stalker. 🤷‍♀️ Yet, I keep watching. 🍿
