Simply put...this film scripted cliché after cliché till it felt over cooked. Don't get me wrong here....theres a lot that catches the eye. It's nicely shot, the cgi is impressive...BUT Time and time again it quoted phrases from past films in the franchise or when Rain gets shown the pulse rifle..it was like watching Hicks & Ripley. The word rehashed isn't one I like to use..but I have to use it here. 5 out of 10
