This show came after the original Star Trek and before Star Wars or Battlestar Galactica. I loved watching Space 1999 when it first aired and have rewatched it on YouTube. Granted it seems a bit dated now and some of the alien creatures are almost amusing, but it is still good drama and adventure with great sets and costumes.
