I should preface this by saying I typically like very simple movies where not a ton happens. But SOMETHING happens. Please ignore the positive reviews from all the people thinking that because they watched an artsy film, they feel like they have to say it’s amazing. This movie couldn’t possibly be more boring. I understand the idea. I understand the message etc. it’s not just executed well. The main character doesn’t even speak until like 30 mins into the film. Other than mabye one word. And nothing is happening around him. He is just going to work. I get it, he’s a good guy, he takes pleasures in the little things in life. There’s a way to have that character in a movie that’s actually entertaining. Mabye have the characters speak and something happen? Just my 2 cents. I waste your time if you want. But unless your pretentious contrarian artsy type, I don’t think you will GENUINELY enjoy it.
