I don't think everybody fully understands the plot of this movie. It goes WAY further than just two kids waking up to find everything gone, alone, and stuck in an inescapable situation with a spirit in their house. The plot is slow and unstable, random and confusing, but when you really look into what it's trying to say, it's a much better movie.
