I think it is a good TV action show but it over glamorizes the Seals and I think even they would say so. They are the most focused and dedicated folks I have ever served alongside. The problem with the show is the accuracy of rating badges, ribbons etc. The episode I watched last night where they try to hand Jason in court had him with red rating badge and longevity stripes despite the fact that he has a good conduct ribbon with four stars. He should have been wearing all gold badge and stripes! They even had a MC in the jury that was wearing gold. When his CO testified he wasn't wearing a Trident or Command Pin. One of the biggest goofs is that after all these years the young guys are the same rank as they started which is ridiculous. Seals due to the nature of their work are promoted very quickly through the enlisted ranks which they deserve no question. Overall not bad but these mistakes should have been caught.
