Summary: Enjoyable Battle Royale game, slightly faster paced than PUBG. Quite buggy on a PC (audio issues, graphical glitches). As someone who doesn't have the WZ1 baggage, I have to say I really enjoy WZ2. I remember trying to play WZ1 once or twice and giving up because there was just too much going on. I never really got into the Battle Royale genre as a result. I quite recently started playing PUBG and really enjoyed it. Then WZ2 was released and I wasn't going to bother because of the whole "massive money making franchise" thing, but when some of my favourite streamers started playing it, I gave it a try. I must say I really enjoy this game! Coming from PUBG, this game feels fast! I like the strategic element, slow play and tactical planning. PUBG players can thrive in this environment! The game looks great and is a lot of fun. I can understand that if you're following the franchise, you might be disappointed by the changes but as for me, a (modern) COD newbie, it's a decent game!
