3 star ending. 5 star read until last 30 pages…
I thought it was a great read until the final 30 pages or so. I feel like there is a great deal left unexplained, especially with Mayken. No closure on bullebak or bunyip. It was like a movie that ran out of money and just ended.
Regardless, I’m glad I read it and opened up my mind to the Batavia. Will do more research on the ship for sure :)
