Excellent, classy film that fully convinces you that the French are first rate film makers, actors and artists. I was compelled immediately with the story, and blown away with the understated performances.

Gripping. Excellently acted, and with a unforgettable ending.

Love the sentiment, but lacks punch. Carey Mulligan is excellent as usual.

Forget the negative reviews. This film is class due to it’s look, design and choice of actors in roles they seem born to play. Pattinson (Just nails it!) and Dano have always impressed (same with Geoffrey Wright), but the supporting cast doesn’t put a foot wrong. Kravitz makes a ultimate Catwomen, subtle and believable and avoiding any camp. Serkis makes a definitive Pennyworth, and the chilling little introduction of a certain someone prior to the films end whets your appetite for more Reeves reboot Batman. Loved it, and so did my 20yr old son! Don’t be put off by it’s time length of almost 3 hours…you’ll be so entertained and engaged it flies by.
