Definitely give this movie a chance before dismissing it. It’s entertaining and action packed and ridiculous enough to make it a good watch. The cast is solid and the plot has a twist beyond what the trailers suggest. My chief complaint is that they go a little heavy handed with the CGI, but it’s not a deal breaker. The trailers also suggest it’s a repurposed version of The Lost City or maybe even Romancing the Stone. And, although it is about a writer seemingly thrown into an extraordinary adventure, you’ll find more to enjoy than what its previews promised. It has all the hallmarks of a Mathew Vaughn film that build upon the traditional spy action genre, but with a novel twist. So definitely give it a chance!
