The Taylor situation: Although the comment was unnecessary, I don't think it is worth cancelling a whole show over. A lot of people loved the show (including me) and Taylor fans are just ruining a chance at us getting a second season just because they were pressed about ONE line. I think she should just wait for an apology from Netflix and move on. People have been saying think like that about her for a long time now and she decides to bash a whole show over something that has already been said multiple times! I personally loved the show and I'm frustrated by the fact that I might not get a season two simply because on line in a show (that wasn't even half as bad as the Selena Gomez one on the saved by a bell reboot). My thoughts on the actual show: I thought the show was really good. It has been getting a lot of Gilmore girl comparisons, but I don't really now why. The only thing similar about both shows is a young single mother and daughter duo in a New England town. Although I don't like Ginny, I think she is over-hated in the sense that she went through a lot and her mother hid a lot from her. Also, the MANG friend group was really toxic and there was a lot of peer pressure for ginny to do things that I don't think she wanted to do. All she wanted to do was fit in and make friends because her whole life she never had that. My favourite characters are Marcus, Nick, and Joe. Marcus is a really good and interesting character that I want to know more about. His backstory is really interesting because of what happened to his friend and how he deals with it. I think he was extremely mistreated and people were always rude to him. He is also really fun and his facial expression are GOLD. Joe is amazing and I want to see more of him (if there is a season two). Joe is a really interesting and funny character that the show needs. His face in the scene where ginny says "black like your heart?" is one of the funniest moments on the show. He needs more screen time and I would love to see some scenes with him and Marcus. Nick is hilarious and in every scene he is in he make me laugh. I love is friend dynamic with Georgia, and I want to see more of him in the next season. My least favourite characters are Hunter and Ginny. I already explained how I feel about Ginny, so I'll say how I feel about hunter. Hunter is the WORST character on the show and I think he got way more screen time than he deserves. I am baffled by the fact that he is the handsomest and most popular guy in school. He always got on my nerve and he dabbed in freaking 2021! Also the tap dancing scene made me want to stab my eyes out like how Marcus was going to do. My only negative with the show is with the show is that fact that the teenagers are so outdated and I think they need to be more relevant and relatable. Anyways this show is great and if you like Gilmore girls and DramComs then this is the show for you. Go give Ginny and Georgia and good rating, so we can get a season two!
