Movie was damn slow. The film shows the woman confident also as well as helpless. They failed to make a point whther she is strong or a woman in despair. The story is good. The setting, costumes are extravagant. This is what mainly grips our attention right from the beginning.It is just a story about a woman who takes revenge. A regular story wrapped neatly in a desi avatar. If u r really talking about feminism and others then kahani made a solid point better than this film.

Finally a show which doesn't have vulgar language, and violent sex scenes or any indecency on screen. Sushmita Sen lives up to expectations. We wanted exactly like this from her and she delivered it very neatly and lives up to her reputation. Coming to the series , everyone gave a brilliant performance. The brother, cop, don, father...everyones role is neatly choreographed with no loose ends. Chandrachur has delivered a good performance. It's nice to see him after a long time on screen. I loved the way they unfolded the whole story perfectly. You cannot guess the mystery till the end. It has a very strong storyline of love, lust, family, friendship and betrayal. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The only negative feedback which I could point out was they dragged it too much when it came to grieving. It's kind of boring and stereotype.

This was definitely gripping. I watched it all in one go. Not even one scene was boring . The characters were decent and it balanced perfectly with family emotions and thrilling job. Throw in couple of scenes for Kashmir and Pakistan militants...this is definitely one of the best .
