It definitely isn't the same show set in the 70's. But without really trudging into nostalgia too often to a point where it relies on it, I feel like this show finds its footing with a fun and engaging story that pretty much goes through the whole season. The new cast is a whole lot of fun and somewhat dense and nuanced as time goes on. I am somewhat not a fan of Gwen, but she isn't the worst character on television. Just sometimes a little much for my taste. The fact this takes place over one summer is also a nice touch I like and I sort of hope if it goes on, that Eric and Donna decide maybe they wanna move back to quiet town Point Place so we can see the new cast interact more often and really build the dynamics more up. It's a great show though with its premise, obviously the returning cast is phenomenal as well, laughed hard at a lot of jokes. This was a good trip and I hope to see more of it again. Please don't cancel this one Netflix.
