I don't even need to explain. Firstly the Subtle racism in the main characters. The White Ghostbusters are all Scientists while the Black Ghostbusters is a NYC Subway Worker which shouldn't be a problem until you realize that this movie is supposed to be progressive. It was supposed to be a "woke" movie with changes that include and represent other kinds of people, hence the main characters are all women being the opposite of the original cast's genders but this isn't a problem the main character's gender means nothing unless for example you make a Captain America movie and you change Captain America into a woman for no reason and even then there is no real issue.
Secondly isn't this supposed to be a comedy? None of the jokes where even giving off the painfully bad illusion that they were funny.
Next,There are several rehashed scenes such as the library scene which made negligible changes to make itself anything original and, compared to the original was terrible in terms of quality. The ghosts overall look abysmal compared to the original and overall the Special Effects seemed bland.
The Antagonist is also terrible. The design seems like a clear copy to Slimer from the second film in the original duo of Ghostbusters films. The Backstory is blatant and contrived and there was next to no motivation behind the main villain's actions.
Same for the message:this being Girl Power. The message in itself isnt terrible it is just the way it is shown. If you wanted a good message for a film Girl Power isnt the one you typically want. Not because it is a bad message to teach its viewers it is just because it is less relatable. You want a message that every person who is watching will relate too. Girl Power isnt one that nobody will relate too but it isnt the optimal message for relatability
That was my two cents and if you think it is bad well i don't care i just do this because im bored but i put effort into it because why not.
