Slow going. Not a page turner. Nothing like his earlier books

Too long. No interaction between Robin, Milo, and Alex. Was it twins or triplets? Dropping child with mentally challenged husband and wife in back woods to lose her is ridiculous. Sounds like supermarket tabloid story.

Too many plots woven together. Then in the end a happy ending for all.Most characters are flat and under developed. The character of Nina would have made a great book. Tha Huntress character not developed. The title of the book should have been- The Hunt For the Huntress. Because we got to know the hunters, but not the Huntress.

The worst book she has ever written Endless page after page of Kate's thoughts. No action. Bored to tears

I had never read the Lucy Kinclad series before. There just too much flashing back to previous Lucy books that I got lost. I was confused by all the characters.Ex: Lucy's siblings, in laws,etc If I hadn't like the Peter McMahon character and wanted know what happened to him, I would have stopped reading half way through. Doesn't stand alone. You need to read the whole series in order.
