Interesting story but it's extremely difficult to like the do called "heroine" As a young lady she caused all kinds of problems by her lying.After 16 years she comes back to her own town looking for redemption. She is obviously to the number of people including her own parents, she has hurt in the past.

Well Richard Armitage is not a star of the show. I don't know how many minutes he was actually on screen for. Not many! The lead lady was ok in Coronation Street but I don't think she's good her in the main role. The two cops are fine even though the older one has something seriously wrong with him and his assistant tries to cover it up. The two kids are on the trail of their recently discovered half brother. Some issues with this series.

I found it exceptionally slow and tedious. I am sure they could have cut the number of programmes down by half as in some episodes not very much happened. I did not find it riveting at all and I did watch all ten episodes.

Really enjoyed it. Glad the nastier parts of the book were taken out. I don't like dogs fighting and being beaten etc. You will cry a lot but you will fall in love with Buck even though he is not a real dog. You must try it

This drama drags on and on and becomes boring. Not very believable. The wife is a two time killer but her cop husband is just glad she's not having an affair.
