Totally engrossing picture of a man's journey into a growing rebellion against an empire of bureaucracy and increasing oppression of all who would challenge it. Characters are real, not two dimensional ( even the droids). Story arcs cross and merge but each feels real and the protagonists, conflicted as they all are, seem to be fulfilling a fate.
