This album is a mix of many awesome things! It’s metal, pop punk, emo, anime, power pop and more all mixed together with some nostalgia and experimental production. The choruses are huge, the songs are maximum level catchy and many tracks had me hitting repeat over and over. Where many bands are making good music, it also feels like they are following the current popular sound and trends for the genre, and filling the songs with cliches of the genre. Not a bad thing by any means! But this album feels like a band who wrote the music they were inspired to write at the current time, no matter what current trends said they should do. There are maybe 3 songs I didn’t really care for and they still haven’t grown on me but that doesn’t mean they won’t be someone else’s favourite. If you are looking for a songs to checkout first, the stand outs to me were: The top 10 statues that cried blood Koolaide youtopia Gotta give this album a very solid 9/10. It is in my top 3 favorite albums of the year so far
