It is very sad to see such a missed opportunity. A show from one of the most beloved characters in science fiction, planned by one of the biggest studios in the world, with an extremely talented cast, but such poor writing. How is it possible that none of the "epic" scenes and anticipated encounters bare any weight at all. At this point I wonder if any star wars property is planned upfront, the show lacks focus, tries to juggle too many stories and at the same time, feels like nothing really happens. I never took star wars too seriously, but this show deserved a lot better. I hope that Disney starts branching out and free themselves from the constraints of the empire and new republic eras to explore other time periods and characters.
