I watched the entire first season although I was ready to give up after the first three or so episodes (I wanted it to get better but sadly it did not). The main message I got from this mess was that only the truly stupid will survive no matter the how many ridiculous decisions they make. One character's selfish decision making leads directly to the deaths of many, many people while she continues to survive. While another character, after witnessing an unexplainable incident outside of a hotel room window, decides to lead her family outside into the danger seemingly without a plan or care and others felt a need to venture out in order to celebrate a birthday ignoring the situation at hand. It goes on and on ....Can't wait for the second season to air so I can ignore it. There was an opportunity to do something really great here but this is a mess. One star for some of the visuals.
