The author's stellar photography and empathetic writing blew me away, even in an oversaturated world of images and information. Fazzari clearly loves Japan: through all her senses - and a lot of heart - she takes me on an unforgettable voyage, behind the scenes in Japan's top sushi restaurants. I already thought I knew a lot about sushi and sushi masters, but after reading this book a few times now, I realize that I did not. The author provides a window into Japan's culinary and aesthetic worlds with artful skill and talent. You will always treasure Sushi Shokunin!
