This show is lacking in every way. The cast, overall, is too young and inexperienced by half, to represent an elite team of professional FBI agents representing the US in a foreign country. The script is bland, disjointed, superficial, and spoken as though being read but not understood. The body language is awkward, immature, and inappropriate to convey a believable message. The actors demonstrate no shared chemistry, and very little individual personality. The dog, itโs role, the way itโs treatedโฆ really?! The storylines and sub-text are implausible to the point of complete dearth of good sense or judgement.
Optimistically, we stuck it out til this:โฆ
Episode opens with agent being poisoned, proceeds thru many scripted missteps, โtil the final few minutes when the teamโs female counterpart in Budapest enters the squad room to announce sheโs just spoken to her contact in Russia, and says:
โRussia has agreed to stop using poisonsโ.
(Seriously?!)
My kids were scripting better make-believe in the backyard when they were eight.
