This movie is absolutely incredible and any of these idiots rating it 1 star clearly just didn’t care enough to pay attention to the plot points. And to the people saying not to bring kids because of the language and disturbing themes presented, it’s rated PG-13 not G. It’s not a kid’s movie. Maybe your 5 year old can wait for a while. Moving on to the movie itself, it revolves around the rest of the guardians hunting for a way to save Rocket’s life, without triggering the kill switch on his heart, after a near fatal attack from an immature Sovereign sent after him by his creator, the High Evolutionary. Without really spoiling a whole lot this guy is an absolute whack job who basically considers himself to be a god and wants to “perfect” the universe by creating new life forms. Periodically it will go to a flashback of Rocket’s tragic upbringing at the hands of this psycho, and it is absolutely heart wrenching and a great look into his character. All of the actors give incredible performances and each character gets their time to shine with their own development arc, and it gives a great conclusion to the franchise. Anyone who loves the first 2 movies is going to love this. Highly recommend.
