Watching during week of 1/15/24, I could swear I am watching a local Dallas program. The Cowboys are all they talk about. Further, all the reasons they give for firing Mike McCarthy in Dallas are the same reasons they give for keeping Mike Tomlin in Pittsburgh. Totally scripted.

I had high hopes for this series being a fan of Yellowstone but after 7 episodes the best I can give it is two stars and that is only because the rest of TV stinks worse. This show is so slow! There is no character development other than Elsa. As a matter of fact the program would be more accurately titled "Elsa in 1883". The voiceovers provide ample opportunity for bathroom breaks and frankly I am not interested in the ramblings of an 18 year old in 1883 or 2022. One tie-in with Yellowstone it does have is that Dutton fathers have no control over their daughters and Dutton daughters have no control over their emotions. Very disappointing.
