This film isn't everyone's cup of tea, if you like movies which have item numbers, liquor, expensive cars & actresses in vulgar clothes then don't watch it. 3.The message of this film will force you to live life more happily. 4.This movie also proved a lot & broke the stereotypes, If you think that Sonakshi doesn't know acting, box office earnings were right, the same stereotypical love story, etc. about this film, then sorry! it will prove you wrong. 5. Music album is also good, "बरामदे पुराने हैं नयी सी धुप है जो, पलके खाटखटा रहा है किसका रूप है" explains the emotions, while "मेरे हाथों, हुआ जो किस्सा शुरू, उसे पूरा तो करना है मुझे, कब्र पर मेरे सर उठा के खड़ी हो ज़िन्दगी, ऐसे मरना है मुझे! कुछ माँगना बाक़ी नही, जितना मिला काफी है, जिंदा हूँ यार, काफी है!", this few lines highlights the specialty of the film. 6.The film has shown the emotions that are caused due to first love, deception in love, expectation from life, losing expectations from life, anger, sorrow, betrayal etc. 7. "Lootera" title justifies the movie, because only a Lootera can be expert in plunder, looting is his art. In this film, Varun (Ranveer Singh) first robbed (Sonakshi Sinha) Pakhi's hopes & love, then her sorrow & darkness.

I will not say much about this film, because many people have said it. Just saying! that if you've given up on expectations from your life, if you've no hope for the future, upset or stress, then definitely watch this film, because this film will make you laugh first, then make you cry & then make you think that nowadays we have become so busy in creating the future that we have forgotten to live today. For film makers, I would say that the makers of the 70s were ahead of the times. Today's so called film makers should take lesson from them, & they should understand that movies are not made of expensive cars, liquor, item numbers, adult scenes, western culture & shortening the clothes of actresses rather, films are made of good story, direction, team, acting, culture related to own country & from the heart.
