No wonder it got a PG rating. Just saw it. Not for little girls. Talk about bad dreams. Three parts stick out very scary, 2 minutes into the movie the shark attack chase, Ursula over the edge for a 5 year old and the ending fight scene, horrible. I would not take a small daughter. I thought CGI was ok, the water and fish scenes beautiful. The red fake dread lock wig is a big no. All the weird sisters, really...was her dad married 20 times. All the great original music, was the bird rap song necessary? Cutting herself for a fin, showing blood for Ursula and her potion...really. The fake motor boat to the ship in the end, unnecessary...the Wedding would have been much better. Don't take small children. 😢
