One of the most inspired scifi films ever made - based on the genius of a great book. It's always a wonder to me how a film like this doesn't get better ratings? I can only surmise that it's because it lacks the spoon feed, popcorn that the masses enjoy in between getting distracted by tik-tok, their minds balk in confusion, loosing interest in the sublime, complex, intertwining plot.
