Service is vital to me so I come up with ways to serve and get my grandchildren involved in service with me. This has become more challenging as my handicapping condition has limited my mobility more and more over the years. I have learned through pain and struggle that the worst thing in the world is not any of the things we think. The worst thing in the world is being useless. As long as I can continue to bless the lives of God's children, my discomfort is more an inconvenience than a source of depression and uselessness.
Focusing on what I CAN do keeps me from fretting over what i CAN'T do.
