Practically Platinum gaming

I'm a long term dragon age fan, played since origins and loved basically all the games since but unfortunately this game kind of just sucks. I've played for around 12 hours forcing myself to keep going. The writing is horrendous ( I've actually not seen much on the whole trans thing yet in the game) it's anthem level bad or worse, the animations are sub par and the combat is way too floaty. I didn't mind the change to a more action based combat system as I'm a massive fan of games like Devil may cry but the game play just seems off. I really wanted to like the game and despite all the negative buzz surrounding the game I decided to buy the game and make up my own mind but I should have listened and saved £60. If you have to play it wait for a heavy sale/discount.

This game is absolutely phenomenal. I'm a long time final fantasy, Smt and persona player and genuinely a massive fan of turn based rpgs in general. The story, characters, battle system and even the music are amazing. This might possibly be the best game atlus has ever produced, it's thought provoking, funny and sad at times all handled with care and respect. The themes of oppression, anxiety and hope really resonated with me and had me thinking alot through the 90 hours it took me to finish the story on hard mode. Game takes a little while to get started but is totally worth it on the end.

So been waiting to do a review until I actually finished the game, personally I think it's one of the best final fantasy games ever made and one of my favourite games. The story was gripping, gameplay is good especially when keeping in mind they have tried to make it accessible for non action combat players to get into. The boss battles are an absolute speticle and how I always wanted to see the iconic summons from final fantasy games imagined. The cast of characters are great and personally felt by the end of the game I was invested in their stories. The only real issues are early game side quests can be tedious, it's quite easy and maybe final fantasy mode should have been avaliable from the off set, the biggest issue for me is that the rpg elements are very lacking but again the rest of the game makes up for any short commings. It's a must buy for me personally.

Cyber punk 2077 at its heart is a good game, the story and characters are interesting but things like the stupid ammount of bugs even playing on ps5 I've had frequent crashes. Bugs aside the gameplay is decent though I don't feel like the there is great build verity in characters and the world albeit huge feels empty with basic features like being able to change your characters hair styles at barbers ect is missing. I don't think CD project red should get a pass for the state that the game came out in and it was clearly shady dealings when it came to not showing ps4 and xbox one users gameplay.
