I did not expect this to be good at first though from watching the trailer . It’s a bad movie and most of the time I get bored or cringed. Most of the jokes do not hit and I heard some was outdated. I do enjoy some bits with the minions. I think some scene, with these yellow guys are still enjoyable. The tennis scene is quite funny. The plot is meh. First of all there is this antagonist Maxine La Mal who is coming after Gru for revenge. This villain is somehow threat to Gru so the AVL provide Gru and his family a hideout and they are required to be disguised. Btw this confused me at first because Gru had experienced big threats before. I mean he stole the moon so how is this villain a threat. Maxine is just a random villain who uses insect powers and his goal is just claiming revenge on some past little thing that happened. I don’t wanna spoil that much but if I do it does not give a difference. I am to lazy to talk about this movie and it’s a forgettable one anyway. To sum up the movie, Gru and his family go hideout from an insect a bunch of fillers like the heist scene and cringy unfunny joke Kids can still enjoy this but I recommend other movies like inside out 2.
