I walked out halfway, this movie is an insult to the genre. You can tell how the movie goes basically from the beginning.

Must watch! Exposes the homeschool cult I grew up seeing in my community! I was homeschooled too, but growing up I met families involved in IBLP and saw firsthand the toll this program took on children. I see in the Duggars and in many of the survivors featured in this documentary shades of these people I once knew. If nothing else, you should watch this documentary to understand the signs that someone in your community is involved in this: whether that is your neighbor, or your child's schoolmate. I have recommended this to family and friends of all different faiths, but I think it especially pertinent for Christians who are considering a faith based education for their children. Not all programmes are made equal, and they should he aware of the doctrine behind their textbooks! This docuseries is a cautionary tale about corruption within an institution that purports to encourage morality. Any such institution that anyone gets involved in should be scrutinized, else what happen here can happen to them!
