The reader can infer that women in the 1800s were attracted to and wanted to marry a man with wealth and prosperity, as their upbringing taught them to achieve. In the novel Pride & Prejudice , I found Mr. Darcy's character just like me, as he speaks very little and his nature is also very good, he lives in a formal manner.
