First off I absolutely love Mel Brooks and his satire. That being said this seemed like Mel Brooks just gave a bunch of comedical actors his idea (or I should say Hulu did) and they all ran with it. In which you think would be a good idea, but it felt forced without any true comedical effort. Almost like there were too many hands involved in the writing. And yes, Mel Brooks is the godfather of sporadic comedy/satire. On the otherhand- I did love seeing all of them (great line up of comedy's greats) giving homage to Mel Brooks' style. So I'll give it three stars. It's still something to watch and not take too serious. It's really just like Movie 43. Only about history and spread out.
