Excellent acting and good storyline. The chemistry between Alice Eve and Chris Evans was authentic. Both were struggling with heartbreak and needed each other to interrupt the cycle. He honored her when he stopped his advance, and she was grateful that he didn’t take advantage. There was intimacy, but at a non-sexual level, built on mutual respect and compassion. She would go back to her husband ready to confront his adultery and Nick would audition and start the musical career he had dreamed of. One day, he would be playing a gig when Brook walks in. She would smile and he would know it was their time. Two emotionally healthy people ready to finish what they started.
