A review of Oppenheimer that no one asked for:
It's a good movie, although 3 hours long, not once did i feel disengaged or bored. Don't buy into the hype too much, I'm not saying you'll be disappointed, but keep modest expectations. This movie is focused more on Oppenheimer's life, relationships and politics rather than the Manhattan project exclusively. It's not a visual spectacle per se, when it comes to the atom bomb or explosion itself, in fact, it's a very small part of the movie.
It goes without saying that acting is out of this world and that is the Visual spectacle that this movie offers; the expressions, drama of it all, Outstanding.
Apart from Cillian Murphy, Emily blunt was extraordinary i must say.
To sum it up, Christopher Nolan has done a very good job in depicting the life of a complicated individual and his tussle with power, morality and guilt.
