I really appreciated the fact that this wasn’t a film based on “woke” propaganda. I was impressed by how Peele is able to use true diversity in the casting of film, without cramming it down everyone’s throat. Too much of a good thing is bad. This film outlined the mystery surrounding UFO phenomenon in Southern California, while introducing a pleasant plot to the audience.
The personalities embodied by the cast are nothing short of genius. None of social normative perceived notions were introduced during the film’s climactic buildup, which ultimately lead to the to the conclusion of the film to memorable and refreshingly pleasant.
The genius of Jordan Peele comes to life in this film. I’m my opinion, this is the best of his films yet, and only showcases the maturity of his craft. If you’re looking for a down-home style film, without all the political force feed, then this is for you. Make this a film the whole family can enjoy, while celebrating a diverse cast!
