I couldn't make it more than 30 minutes into the film, it went so far off from the established storyline of the Uncharted game series, including Sam and Nate's relationship, as well as how Nate obtained the Sic Parvis Magna ring. Not to mention it is poorly acted with zero chemistry between the two lead actors. Terrible that they slapped the name Uncharted on it when it's so far off base, fair enough if you want to make an action adventure movie about treasure hunting but don't call it Uncharted if you plan to take creative liberties with well established plots and character dynamics. It's a hollow and soulless attempt in my opinion.

Shot and filmed like an independent which is fine, acting was decent, the dialogue was well-written though it comes off as a play at times, which it was originally. If you're looking for a modern film to hold your attention with flashes and bangs then this is not your movie. It's a slow burn with a strong cast, Keaton is cast as her usual role and Sarandon is vivacious as usual. Gere sorta fades to the back in this one, I'm not sure why and Macy's acting as Sam is great. He would have paired nicely with Keatons character. I was personally disappointed in the ending because these couples were not happy together and yet decided to stay with each other, even though there was infidelity from a one night stand which lasted about 4 months. It has potential and I can appreciate seeing it in this film, it's worth a watch if you dont have a lot going on and just need to switch your brain off for a little bit.
