Shot and filmed like an independent which is fine, acting was decent, the dialogue was well-written though it comes off as a play at times, which it was originally. If you're looking for a modern film to hold your attention with flashes and bangs then this is not your movie. It's a slow burn with a strong cast, Keaton is cast as her usual role and Sarandon is vivacious as usual. Gere sorta fades to the back in this one, I'm not sure why and Macy's acting as Sam is great. He would have paired nicely with Keatons character. I was personally disappointed in the ending because these couples were not happy together and yet decided to stay with each other, even though there was infidelity from a one night stand which lasted about 4 months.
It has potential and I can appreciate seeing it in this film, it's worth a watch if you dont have a lot going on and just need to switch your brain off for a little bit.
