Let me first say that a 1 star review is a gift. If 0 was an option this is deserving of it. EA should get into the meat business because they are great at butchering NHL. Since 15 this game has been garbage. The mechanics and abilities are unrealistic. You could be completely by a defender but because they have truculence their gravitational pull sucks you into a devastating hit. The AI are brain dead and do the most off the wall stuff like continuously skate backwards to defend when the puck carrier is burning them, skating directly into defenders, shooting absurd shots etc. This game has been a micro transaction cash grab for years now with no end in sight. They care about HUT so that you have to spend money on packs to compete. If there was any other NHL game to compete I’d buy that but unfortunately we are stuck with this junk. Blind kids who live in the desert and have no concept of ice could develop this better. I would highly recommend waiting until a deep discount is available before buying it.
