If you are a survivor a suicide attempt(s) or family member or friend of someone who died by suicide, you should contemplate deeply before seeing this movie.
Yesterday, I took my two aunts and older sister to the movie. My oldest aunt lost her son to suicide in 2004 and my sister was very close to him as they were less than a year apart growing up.
There are three very graphic scenes of Tom Hanks character attempting suicide. My poor aunt endured this by covering her ears, closing her eyes and bowing her head. My sister ended up walking out of the movie when they were depicting the third event by shotgun.
The storyline of the movie was good, but this movie is was very traumatizing for our family due to the graphic nature of the suicide attempts.
