It is faithful to the anime but you have to watch the anime to get a grip on what’s going on. If you do, the movie is fantastic. The acting was solid and they didn’t skimp out with the CGI. Best anime translation to film I’ve seen and I’ve seen all of them.

EmÃlia Clark made the movie was unwatchable because of her horrible acting. Nice cinematography, but rather boring. But at least would have been watchable if not for the horrendous acting of miss Clark who had me cringing every time she came on the screen.
