I couldn’t Identify with the characters or share much empathy. Parts kept me reading but in the end I just wanted to finish it for the sake of finishing. It’s not poorly written, I just didn’t like any of the characters at all so I didn’t care too much what happened. I do think it’s well observed and super on point politically and socially. Just not engaging in the end.

I agree with those who say that it felt exciting at the start but it was not gripping (for me) whatsoever. I just couldn’t identify with the characters, none of their decisions made sense to me leaving a disappointing and unrealistic ending.
