I found the fact that pip was played by an American actress which was clear throughout annoying. Also I felt that pip had no personality. The fact it doesn’t follow the sequence of events in the books is also annoying and the plot doesn’t make as much sense. Also things such as it being set in the uk but having no school uniform, like such simple obvious things that couldn’t have been that hard to implicate were not. Relationships between characters were questionable and many characters were omitted and relationships changed. Overall it wasn’t the worst but I just felt like it’s not that hard to stick to a book plot that’s so cleverly worked out or get an English actor/someone who can speak with an English accent for a BBC production.
