I'm not sure if I watched the same movie as all the following reviews, but I'm not going to disparage their hot take. What started out as a gripping, edge of your seat mystery slowly devolves into a hobbling movie cliche middle before it unravels to meta-explaining at the end. Here's your synopsis: "Doppelgangers, because reasons."
I won't do a bullet point analysis to avoid spoilers, but if I've ever seen a movie that deserves a tag of Chekhov's gun this is the one. This movie will leave you scratching your head and wondering who the characters are explaining to in retrospect once the twist ending his.
To be fair, the actors played the parts as well as they could for what it is.
