I've really looked forward to seeing this movie. And was excited that it was finally released. I've thoroughly enjoyed The Last Kingdom. I think it is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. In fact I've watched all five (5) Seasons several times. It was wonderfully brought to life by very great Actors, Directors, Cinematographers and everyone involved in the production of this show. To see each one of these characters portrayed so well by all of these actors has been very enjoyable and I became attached and part of Utred, Brida, Alfred, Edward, on down to Aethelstan's lives. To see each one of them grow and become the great figures of history was amazing and emotional for me. When Alfred died. I cried. When Aethelfled passed away, I cried for her and for Utred. When Brida was killed by Stiorra, it broke my heart because I had hoped that her and Utred may have a future together since they had been a part of each other"s lives ever since they were children. However, in the Seven Kings Must Die, the story of Utred comes to an end and I was devastated to know not only because his story was over but his life was over as well. He was such a larger than life Hero that was not ever really recognized until the end. He was the greatest Warrior ever known in the History of England. I highly recommend this to everyone I know that loves Historial based shows and movies.
