I'm afraid I agree with elli (below)
I got most of the way through series one,
( are later series any better?)...and it just got too cringe worthy...
The longer format series are better, eg Unforgotten, American shows such as Bosch, The Wire...
Rushed plots, sometimes unbelievable dialogue, over acted or over directed...good for younger or less discerning audiences.
