I think people need to understand that Indy isn’t 30-something years old now and to expect anything more in terms of intense action is not fair to the cast and writing of this movie. I feel like this movie did a fantastic job of still giving a thrilling adventure while also being realistic about Harrison Ford’s age. The story was much more centered in scientific and historical fact compared to Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and that alone made it much more enjoyable; it wasn’t just some crazy, far-fetched, fantasy. I like that it didn’t feel like an agenda was being pushed and we could just enjoy the movie. This was a great wrap-up to Indy’s story and is well worth the watch.
