the film is a "fake", it seems to be made basically to satisfy the current taste for violence (see the HALF HOUR of previews) One gratuitous, far-fetched accident after the other. History DOES NOT SEEM TO MATTER. It was filmed in England, and unfortunately it shows: landscape, and architecture, have nothing to do with France. Perhaps to convince the viewer, there is a nocturnal encounter between the protagonist, who is again surviving deadly accidents, with a beautiful (and elegant) French woman and her baby daughter, looking to me about 4 or 5 months old. The baby is wearing, over what must be a diaper, cute green panties. Well, European babies, until after Second World War, were in swaddling clothes. Photos of women preciously kept by the protagonist appear to have been taken perhaps five/ten years ago (I happen to know how women dressed in those years, I have a picture of my mother taken in 1917!!). Sadly.
(I apologize for possible errors, English is not my language)
