I love the personality of Mr. Rodgers and how he was a great humanitarian. Tom Hanks was amazing and he captured Mr. Rodgers. Now, I feel the movie really did not focus much on him at all. It was more like the story of Lloyd. (In real life the journalist Mr. Rodgers became close friends with.) Mr. Rodgers was making cameo appearances in his own movie. I have seen documentaries that have shown so much more to him and the people he touched. In particular, he stood against racism and misjustices of minorities. There was nothing about that in movie. I looked forward to this movie. I was disappointed.
