Correction for Sunny, it is not correct to refer to Ukraine as the Ukraine. The Russians referred to that part of the country during the Soviet times. Since Ukraine has become a country, a recognized nation and it’s own state, it is just Ukraine. It is incorrect to refer to it as the Ukraine.
